Victor and I did not come from privileged families. I started working from age 12 to support my family. Circumstances also did not allow Victor to further his studies but he got the Technical Engineering Designer’s qualification.
We were finally able to provide a comfortable life for our family with Victor as a professional. Then Victor’s income was affected by the 1984 economic downturn. I began to worry about the uncertainty and our kids’ future.
I didn’t think AMWAY™ was my cup of tea, believing my lack of qualification, and limited circle of friends and public speaking skills would be impediments.
We began to see Amway as an opportunity for people who wanted to change their lifestyles. Building the business also improved our self-esteem and confidence; we became more courageous and positive.
Victor’s passing in 2004 was the lowest point in my life. We wouldn’t be able to continue living a secure, stable life if Victor and I hadn’t sign up. I took a couple of years to recover; something I was able to do because of the security of the AMWAY business.
In 2008, I decided to move my business up another level in honour of Victor’s memory. I wanted to show everyone that, with the right opportunity, each of us is able to provide a secure life for our offspring.
Now, I am passing our AMWAY legacy to our son, Kelvin. This historical moment is a testament to AMWAY’s inheritable income. I hope to also raise more awareness amongst parents, many of whom have the common goal of working hard so that their children can lead comfortable, financially secure lives. But consider this; can you achieve that goal with your existing career? Can your children take over your career and continue where you left off? Can your career become an inheritable legacy? In Amway, the answer is “yes”.
So, stop hesitating. Grab this opportunity now. Have the assurance that your children will inherit and keep the torch of your legacy burning.
