Once in Jakarta I sponsored a stranger into the business. It wasn’t until three months later that I realised he is physically challenged with a fractured right arm and eyesight problems caused by a severe motorcycle accident a few years ago. These were his exact words to me, “Thank you Mr Chew. My first life is past and gone. Now, AMWAY™ is my second life and it is most valuable to me. It has given me new hope to rebuild my future!”

Amy and I were Architectural Interior Design Consultants who graduated from the UK. We ran a consulting firm. We awarded contracts to many others, but had never witnessed any of them improving the quality of their lives despite their hard work and dedication.

The economic recession in 1987 was an unpredictable crisis – just like the tsunami. It came without warning and swept everything away, leaving you with practically nothing. This was what we experienced in 1987. It taught us that having an option in life is important. More importantly, will you be given an option so easily in life?
