ANG CHUN HUAT & TEE BOK HUA
Kuala Lumpur
After I graduated, I worked in a vehicle assembly factory while Bok Hua worked in a Japanese company. Unfortunately, due to the economic downturn, I was retrenched although I had performed well.
This bitter experience had taught me a lesson that being employed does not necessarily mean that you are secure. After a difficult year, I got a new job in an automotive company.
In 1986, my department manager who knew about AMWAY™ had invited me to sign up. Although I was against direct selling, his persistence won me over. So in the end I signed up to support him.
I actually doubted that I would ever reach this level. I wasn’t confident. However, the financial security, the freedom and the rewards offered by AMWAY fuelled my determination. My interest in this business grew. So I decided to expand my business and work hard.
In the period of 14 years as a part-time AMWAY Business Owner (ABO), I have enjoyed countless rewards as a result of my successful business – high income, recognition and personal growth, things which I didn’t get from my previous company although I was an excellent employee. Strange enough, it is my part-time AMWAY business that has provided me with security for years to come.
Having been in this business for many years, we believe that the key to success is perseverance. Persevere in your belief and the choices you have made no matter what the challenges. Once you have begun, continue to learn and make progress. That will determine your success.
Through AMWAY, we are also able to help other people succeed as well. Seeing how their lives have improved so much in so many ways makes us feel so happy. Once strangers, now they have become our best friends.
We are now full-time ABOs. We enjoy conducting our AMWAY business because it’s exciting. For sure, it will be our careers for life and we will take really good care of it.
