I was retrenched from my job as a secretary in a private firm during the economic recession in 1987. I was upset and felt very insecure. In a blink of an eye, I had lost my job and income. I couldn’t see how my family would be able to cope with only Salleh’s salary. He was then a government servant, earning an average income.

During this difficult time, my sponsor approached me with the AMWAY™ Business Opportunity for the third time. As I had no other option available, I reluctantly signed up.

With great determination and fortitude, we overcame each and every challenge that came our way. Gradually, we began to taste the fruits of our labour. The business became easier and more enjoyable as we progressed on.

Now, we recognise the business for what it truly is: a wonderful opportunity that makes dreams possible!

Indeed, our dreams are becoming reality. Despite the economic slowdown, we can even afford to buy a new house and a piece of land. Most of our dreams have come true. We are living a life of freedom and choice. Every year, we are able to go on holidays abroad without paying a single cent.

So far, we’ve been to Hong Kong, Sydney, twice to Los Angeles, twice to the Gold Coast, Hawaii and Beijing. We enjoyed going to Seoul with our children, Mohd Khairul, Mohd Hafiz and Nor Shakila. They have been very patient and understanding throughout the years that we’ve been building this business. Our youngest child, Nor Shakila has even managed to convince her friend’s mother to become an AMWAY Business Owner (ABO), and today, this lady has become a Platinum.
