In 1984, we were introduced to AMWAY™ by one of my best friends. At that time, my wife and I were both teachers and had difficulty making ends meet.

To supplement our income, we took up many part-time jobs. We tried everything, but every effort seemed futile. I became obsessed with trying to get rich and dreamt of it every moment.

Unfortunately, things got even worse. In a bid to get rich quickly, I began speculating in shares, dealt with futures and gambled. Soon, I was heavily in debt.

AMWAY helped us out of our predicament. It helped us become more organised, gave us a more positive attitude and the willingness to help others. Our goal was to qualify as Platinums before I retired. This was because we wanted to be assured of a steady income after our retirement. Then we realised that AMWAY could be our second career. We began seriously building our AMWAY business.

Within seven months, we acquired the Platinum pin, the Ruby pin in March 1987, the Pearl pin in September 1989, and the Emerald pin in August 1991.

In 1992, I opted for an early retirement to concentrate on our AMWAY business. We qualified as Diamonds in August 1994. Now, we have our own house and car, and can look forward to the annual ALS. Our dreams have become true.

The AMWAY business has no risks. Everyone can have their own AMWAY businesses, regardless of educational background and experience.

To succeed, you must be determined, set your goals, be prepared to face challenges, work hard and learn, and obey the Rules of Conduct.
