Prior to AMWAY™, Manirajan worked as a boilerman, clocking 12 hours a day on permanent night shift, earning only RM550 monthly. Besides that, he was also a taekwondo instructor at several schools in Johor Bahru.

At the beginning, he had to board seven buses daily from Singapore to Pasir Gudang for his AMWAY business. If a meeting was held in Kuala Lumpur, he would take a one-hour flight to attend then fly back to Singapore on the same day, as he could not take leave. The time and energy he put in was enormous, but it was worth it. Within 12 months, he qualified at 12% and his income grew to six times more than his 12 years working as a boilerman. His confidence soared, he quit his job and concentrated on AMWAY full-time.

Manirajan & Vanitha’s hard work paid off. From barely earning enough, they have provided their children with the best education and have the financial capability to overcome challenges that life throws at them. Furthermore, they have the freedom to spend quality time with their children and become people they can look up to.
“The residual income and the opportunity to help others improve their lives are the most gratifying aspects of our business. Remember the words of Rich DeVos: ‘The average working guy of today does not want a hand out. He wants a hand up’,” says the couple.

Life is full of challenges but they believe that positive thinking and attitude can go a long way in helping anyone succeed. “Just remember, if you think you can do it, then you can and you will.”
