I was born into a large family of seven in Klang. My father worked hard, selling bangles in nearby villages and estates to support us and I did my bit to help my family by doing odd jobs.

After my Form 5, I took an engineering course at a college and worked part-time at a petrol station to pay for the fees. While I was riding a bus to college, I got to know the bus driver who told me about the AMWAY™ business and how I could earn a good sum of money even by doing it part-time.

At that time, I was not interested but he was persistent, so I decided to give it a try.

When I saw the Sales & Marketing Plan, I felt amazed because I saw how it could turn a simple man into a millionaire! I felt excited and was eager to give it a try. But the lack of money got in the way.

So, without the knowledge of my parents, I reluctantly sold my gold chain that was a birthday gift from them, for RM150. With that money, I signed up with that bus driver becoming my sponsor.

I joined the business in November 1982 and I worked hard to constantly grow my business. I concentrated on doing the 3S (selling, sponsoring and servicing) and all my hard work has paid off.

My family is everything to me. I owe my success to them. I would not have reached this level without my beloved parents and my three beloved children.

Because of AMWAY, they have a bright future ahead of them. I have also invited my family members to sign up, which they did and have become successful in the business.

My journey to success does not stop here. I have bigger goals and dreams and I want to expand my business. I do believe that, “Coming together is the beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success”.
