I worked as a teacher for 2 years before being posted as a court interpreter at Temerloh High Court. While serving as the latter, I also had the opportunity to become a Commissioner for Oaths. My wife shared a similar career path for 12 years.

Despite our hard work, our income was just enough to support our family, and the demanding workload left us with little time for our children. Deep down, we dreamed of achieving financial freedom and becoming fulltime parents.

Our journey with Amway began when we were introduced to Nutrilite. At that time, our family struggled with various health issues, but after taking Nutrilite supplements, we experienced significant improvement. This transformation strengthened our trust in the brand.

Initially, we were sceptical about direct selling, as our experience in the courts had exposed us to numerous fraud cases. However, our uplines encouraged us to attend meetings, maintain a positive mindset, and trust the Amway Sales & Marketing Plan. Over time, as our family members saw the changes in us, they began to support us.

Starting in a small town came with its own challenges. Many ridiculed us, questioning the legitimacy of the business. But we refused to give up. Every week, we travelled to Kuala Lumpur for trainings and meetings to sharpen our skills and build our confidence.

Our efforts paid off, and a defining moment in our journey was earning our first Amway Leadership Seminar (ALS) trip to Hawaii and visiting the Nutrilite farm. This experience deepened our commitment to Amway’s Health & Wellbeing mission.

Through perseverance and dedication, we achieved financial freedom and the lifestyle we once dreamed of. We have travelled to over 20 countries through ALS, gained valuable personal growth, and developed public speaking skills. Today, I am proud to build this journey with Shela, a certified Nutrilite trainer, as we continue inspiring others to embrace healthier lives.

Our family has flourished alongside our business. All four of our children are actively involved, steadily progressing in their own Amway journeys. Growing up in a positive and nurturing environment, they have excelled academically and developed strong independence.
