After Form Six, I worked as a temporary teacher while attending night school. I was determined to enter university. I believed that no matter how many times I had to try, I would eventually succeed.

That was what I wanted, even though I knew a university degree might not help me realise my dreams.

When I was introduced to AMWAY™, I could not imagine myself succeeding at it even though I saw the potential of the business. I signed up because I wanted to purchase NUTRILITE™ products.

After going through the Starter Kit materials and attending several meetings, I realised that many graduates and professionals were AMWAY Business Owners. Just so I wouldn’t have any regrets later on, I decided to put my plans for further studies on hold and try the AMWAY business for a year.

To my surprise, I was able to achieve 12% in my first month and 15% in my third month but I fell to 3% after the eighth month. I was discouraged and thought that perhaps the AMWAY business was not for me.

But in truth I couldn’t find a more attractive business opportunity. What I really wanted in life was the freedom to do the things I want, whenever I felt like it. I then made up my mind to persist to the end.

My 18 years in AMWAY has not been all work and no play. Most of the time, I was enjoying myself, doing the things I like. In my opinion, if a person really works, he or she should be able to qualify Diamond in three to five years.

I have gained a lot from my AMWAY business. I met my beautiful and capable wife Fui Ping through the business. She has contributed much to the success of our business. For two-and-a-half years, I was mostly overseas but I never stopped receiving my bonuses.

What I appreciate most about the business is the personal improvement I have experienced. In AMWAY, anything and everything is possible.
