FRANCIS & VIVIEN RAJAH
Sabah
Francis Rajah has had his finger in many pies – he was a public servant, a life insurance agent and has dabbled in the stock market. Vivien was a staff nurse and matron of a training college.
Besides work, Francis is also a keen sportsman. He has represented the Sabah state in badminton, soccer, cricket and golf.
When Francis quit his life insurance job, his associates were aghast – especially so, since he was in the line for 10 solid years. He was a Top Producer.
They started their AMWAY™ business in mid-1977.
It was in September that same year that Francis began presenting the AMWAY Sales & Marketing Plan. It was only after having done the presentation that it struck Francis the plan is actually workable.
And so he began to work at it.
They raced to the levels of Ruby and Pearl in January 1978 and to Emerald level in August 1978. “We just couldn’t believe our success,” exclaimed Francis. “We were so excited. We didn’t do anything extraordinary to achieve such a high level.”
Francis went full-time in June 1980, followed by Vivien in October. Vivien then decided to become a full-time homemaker and continued contributing her share of work to their AMWAY business.
Vivien partners her daughter in attending countless sales services, quipping that "with these activities running on a regular basis, there will be results".
To Francis and Vivien, achieving this level of success was thought to be impossible. However, Double Diamond is what they hoped to be.
Francis and Vivien treasure the AMWAY business so much that they will not trade it for any other opportunity. “Having this business has made our family a team,” remarked Francis & Vivien. “It has given us security and friends for whom we have mutual love and respect and freedom.”
Another reason why they love this business is because of the image it builds.
They believe that the AMWAY Sales & Marketing Plan rewards those who put in the effort and hard work.
