We were running two dental clinics and two medical clinics. Our life looked successful, but the truth is, we were exhausted. We barely had time for our children, and no matter how hard we worked, time freedom felt out of reach.
Our Amway journey started when we bought a pressure cooker. We had to register as an ABO to do so, hence, I decided to ‘recoup’ the registration fee. To our surprise, we achieved 12% and received our first Amway bonus in the first month. That was when we realised, “Maybe there’s more to this.”
We started attending meetings, and discovered that the Amway Business Opportunity offers a huge potential and can provide us with flexibility, choices, and a better life.
Naturally, we had our doubts. Would people judge us? Could we really balance the clinics, our family, and the business at the same time? My mother questioned whether all this effort would be worth it.
Instead of reacting, we focused on improving ourselves, staying consistent, and kept moving forward. In our second month, we achieved 21%. From there, the business grew steadily. Looking back, the biggest change was the shift in our lives and priorities.
As medical professionals, we were well versed with preventive healthcare. Thanks to Amway’s health & wellbeing direction, we began embracing healthier daily habits and nutrition. We were helping people improve their quality of life, not just recommending products.
I shared simple home-cooked meals prepared using Amway’s kitchen appliances. A lady who followed my social media posts bought several pressure cookers for her group. They became our long-term customers.
Real success comes from consistency, building trust, and genuinely helping people. We focused on educating, sharing real experiences, and engaging in long-term relationships instead of chasing short-term results.
Over time, my husband and I gradually stepped away from our clinical routines to focus fully on building the business. The freedom we now enjoy with our family is something no clinic schedule could ever provide. Beyond that, we also found meaningful purpose in creating value for our team and the people around us.
Our children grew up watching what consistency, discipline, and goal-setting look like. When they turned 18, we offered them the opportunity to become ABOs. They explored the business at their own pace, and some have since achieved their own pins.
Looking back, the greatest reward from the business was the growth - becoming more confident, more disciplined, and more present for the people who matter most. After all, success is about building a better life together.
