My husband and I used to own 6 conventional businesses - 2 of which operated 24/7 and another 2 were operational for 12 hours daily. We were exhausted everyday and had very little time for our 5 children. We had a good income, but the hours eventually took a toll on our health.
In May 2005, we met our sponsors who shared the Amway Sales & Marketing Plan and the potential rewards of the business. We were under the impression that Amway was for housewives or people who were merely looking to earn an extra income. They enlightened us to the fact that many people knew of the Amway brand but were unaware of its true potential.
What attracted us to Amway was the flexibility of time and financial security that it offers. Being able to spend time with our children and providing them with a financial legacy was truly liberating. It gave us the opportunity to provide the best for our family in the way we want it.
Having travel opportunities as a reward for the hard work helped too. We got to realise our dreams of travelling around the world, having gone on 12 all-expenses-paid trips so far.
Our business has transformed us both in our personal and professional capacities. It had and continues to improve our principles and values – giving us the courage to go beyond our limits to achieve more for ourselves and others. We are happy to have helped so many people enjoy better health, and experience the growth of positive mindsets.
The Amway business is simple – just start by switching products you usually buy to Amway branded ones. Experience and share the benefits of these products, which help tell the Amway business story, to your family and friends.
Repeat this process and teach others to do the same to grow their businesses. Stay focused, execute the 3S+1M strategy consistently and take control of what needs to be done. Naturally, success will be yours.
