Our daughter was six months old when we were introduced to the AMWAY Business by my childhood friend, and we decided on doing the business without any hesitation at all!

While we saw the opportunity offered by AMWAY, we were soon to realise that it would change our lives entirely. Signing up with AMWAY provided a platform for us to learn new things outside of our day jobs. We did not take building the business seriously at first, it was only later when we attended a large-scale AMWAY function that we truly started to understand the meaning of “freedom”.

All successful people are hardworking, but not all hardworking people are successful. Both of us understood that AMWAY would be the avenue for our success. Although we built the Amway business part-time, we built it wholeheartedly!

We faced many challenges in the beginning as we stayed far away from our respective work place and had to share one car to get to and from work. This was on top of the fact that we had to care for our six-month old baby! As all our uplines were based outstation, we could only communicate with them via phone and learn through tapes and books. Most of our weekends were spent travelling to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to attend meetings and to learn about the business.

Our parents were initially negative about us building the AMWAY business, and were not supportive of us, even our friends were making fun of us behind our backs. While we faced rejection multiple times, the challenges only served to make us stronger, and we knew that we had to continue pushing forward.

We know we are doing the right thing while others are trying so hard to do things right. We choose to win in life through the AMWAY business, not just to get by like so many did. We choose continuous growth to learn to lead ourselves and then others.

AMWAY totally changed our lives beyond our wildest imaginations and we feel a sense of achievement and pride when our downlines qualify platinum through working hard together with us. With such a positive environment, we not only managed to improve our quality of life financially but it has also positively affected our children, who are now growing up to be independent and more sociable.

We have made many like-minded friends from all over Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong and Australia who are enthusiastic and positive. We have also helped our family members, children and friends achieve optimal health, and to stay youthful through NUTRILITE and ARTISTRY products!

To us, personal growth is our biggest gain. Through this growth, we believe we have become better people. We now also have greater vision and have manage to help more people help themselves. All of these, we obtained through the experience gained from building the AMWAY business. For that, we will always be grateful.
