Everyone has dreams. Some fulfilled them, some failed to. We were among those who failed; not because we did not work towards them but due to financial constraints and wrong choices made in life. After we were introduced to AMWAY, everything changed.

I was running a family business and have always enjoyed being an entrepreneur. I have tried my hands at insurance and gained vast experience in direct selling. On the other hand, Nordin was a footballer and played for Melaka and Negeri Sembilan from 1980 to 1992, while holding a position in a bank for 29 years.

Not only did he not have any experience in building a business, he also had a negative perception of direct selling. We were introduced to AMWAY by Executive Diamond Harun & Murni. After years of relentless invitation and encouragement from them, we finally signed up in December 2003 and I became a full-time AMWAY Business Owner in June 2006.

Previously a part-timer, Nordin followed in my footsteps over a year ago when he became a full-timer in the business. After understanding the Sales & Marketing Plan, we were determined to succeed. We knew our patience and perseverance would be tested, but we went ahead with the business anyway, as we wanted to build a business that could be passed on to the next generation.

AMWAY has given us the chance to live life to the fullest on top of obtaining financial freedom that we had never dreamt of before. When you embark on a journey to success, see it to the end. Do not settle for anything less. It will be a bumpy ride, but do not get disheartened. Perseverance is key. Your actions today will determine your tomorrow.

Now that we have qualified Diamond, we wish to be the source of inspiration and encouragement to others and to help them change their lives for the better, just like how AMWAY did for us.
