Yin Chuan grew up poor. His mother had to raise him and his four siblings on her own after being widowed at a young age. As a boy, he didn’t have much of a childhood having been brought up in a disciplined, tough environment.

Instead of feeling dejected, he became determined to pursue a better life. The certainty was immediate – after attending an opportunity meeting, he knew AMWAY™ was the business for him.

Although he felt like a fish out of water in the new environment, he kept faith in the business and remained industrious. He made sure that he learnt as much and as fast as he could. Still, he kept one foot firmly on the ground. He constantly reminded himself to not be rash when setting and reaching for his goals. And he was prepared to face any challenge or obstacle.

“Out of the blue, I chanced upon an opportunity to start my own business in Malaysia. Little did I know that our business network would grow to cover Asia, Europe and North America,” he says.

But it was more than building a business for Yin Chuan & Gek Hong. “We have a responsibility to help people fulfil their needs and we take that responsibility seriously.” This was one of the motivations for the couple to qualify as Crown Ambassador. “Our journey will give people the inspiration and courage to dream, to succeed, and to start a new chapter in their lives.”
