Executive Diamond
BRANDON CHOI & YII CHIEH
Selangor
Since I was nine years old, I have been attending AMWAY™ meetings with my parents. As I grew up with AMWAY, I signed up when I turned 18 but I could not focus much on the business until I graduated from college. Finally, at the age of 22, I decided to build my AMWAY business seriously.
As fresh graduates, Yii Chieh and I did not have our own car so we relied heavily on public transport to attend meetings or go for appointments. We did not have much business knowledge or experience. As my parents are in Kuantan and we are in Kuala Lumpur, we had to conduct most of the activities ourselves.
With our full-time jobs, we could only build our AMWAY business outside office hours – during the night, on weekends and public holidays – when others were enjoying their break. For us, the saying, “no pain, no gain”, rings true as we realised sacrifices have to be made to realise a dream.
I was a product marketing specialist with a US-based IT company, while Yii Chieh was a business analyst with an insurance company. Despite that, we both chose to leave our stable and satisfying jobs in August 2014 after we qualified as Diamond in July 2014. Then we started preparation to welcome our first baby, Win. We wanted to be full-time parents to our princess from the day that she is born.
AMWAY has given us hope and helped us realise our dreams of living better lives. We can now afford better cars and homes. We have also been travelling in style with AMWAY to the exclusive AMWAY Leadership Seminars in different parts of the world. Travelling with AMWAY has been very enjoyable and memorable to us, especially the recent Diamond Invitational Trip to Milan in April 2015.
The freedom of choice in life is very important. We know that AMWAY is the only vehicle that can provide us with absolute personal freedom and the lifestyle that we desire most.
