Success did not happen overnight for Diamonds Tang Siew Ching & Tan Meng Yen. It took perseverance, determination and countless sacrifices, one of which was cancelling their honeymoon to Canada in order to attend an AMWAY™ workshop.

As a teenager, Siew Ching had wished to study abroad like many of his friends. Coming from a poor family, however, denied him the luxury.

Knowing full well his dreams would never come true by remaining an employee with a fixed income, Siew Ching opted to start his own business. When his hard work bore some achievements, he was convinced everything he wanted would be in his possession. Until one day, Meng Yen told him, “Your hard work may not have a good outcome. Do you think a woman will marry a man for his wealth or for his time?”

Wise beyond her years, Meng Yen has an unquenchable thirst for learning. Being the eldest in her family, she was trained to be independent since young.

Seeing this strengthened her resolution to succeed and provide a better life for her parents. The difference in their family backgrounds and life experiences may be worlds apart. However, Siew Ching and Meng Yen shared a common goal which brought them together – the goal to succeed.

While Meng Yen was lacking in self-confidence and social skills before, starting their AMWAY business has shaped her into a better person. Their dream to travel the world was realised a mere two years after starting their AMWAY business. Three years into the business, the Diamond pin is theirs – so is a brand new, luxurious BMW.

Their achievement is testament that success through AMWAY is unconditional. Even ordinary people like them can achieve the extraordinary – a lifestyle of unlimited income, freedom, time, luxurious travels and first-class treatment.
