I hail from a comfortably well-off family while Hellin came from an impoverished family. Both of us were determined to change our destiny so our children could lead a better lifestyle.

Since childhood, I nurtured an entrepreneurial spirit as my father told me the only way to get rich is to start your own business. While I was studying in college, I worked part-time as a computer salesman. Subsequently, I started my own IT business. I encountered many ups and downs in my conventional business. Even so, I was not able to live the lifestyle that I desired.

I decided to build the AMWAY™ business seriously after a year of signing up after I noticed the financial security and freedom the business offers. Hellin, who was an account executive, strongly opposed the
business as she did not see its potential. However, I insisted to carry on for the sake of my dreams and aspirations.

Our journey to success has not been all rosy. There was once where Hellin’s objection made me think twice if I should continue the business. Fortunately, my persistence paid off. I finally convinced Hellin and she agreed to build the business with me together.

The setbacks that we encountered while building the AMWAY business was nothing compared to the ones I experienced in my conventional business. Anyone who wishes to succeed must be prepared to endure the hardship and overcome the challenges. We should focus on the true values of AMWAY instead of getting discouraged when challenges set in. Everyone, regardless of his or her background, education, monetary status, age and gender, has an equal opportunity to create an outstanding life with AMWAY as long as he or she is willing to listen, learn, change for the better and put in effort.

The most precious experience of owning a successful AMWAY business is the considerable and inheritable passive income that provides financial freedom and security to my family and I. We have more options now to do the things we enjoy, when to do it, where to do it, whom to do it with and how to do it. It is great to become the master of your own time, 24/7. The principle of “helping others to help oneself” has injected passion, purpose and value into our lives.
