We were just like any ordinary couple. I was a graduate in accountancy. Since young, I had always dreamed big and desired to enjoy an affluent, carefree life filled with travels around the world.

To achieve these goals, I knew I would have to establish my own business instead of being on someone’s payroll. I had known AMWAY™ products since young as my mom was an avid user.

I was driven and never let up on any opportunity to earn pocket money with part-time jobs during my school days. I tried my hands on numerous jobs from salesman to in-house marketing staff, renovation company apprentice, factory worker, restaurant waiter, etc. Every minute of my spare time was used to earn extra income so much so that going out and spending time with friends became secondary.

I joined the workforce after graduation but it didn’t take long for me to realise that becoming an accountant would not bring me closer to my goals. I initiated a change and became a sales representative. The first few years in this line were downright tough, especially because it was a totally unfamiliar environment for me. I didn’t give up, but continued learning and working hard.

Prior to starting our AMWAY business, Siew Lee was an admin clerk. Clocking in daily from nine to five, her work life was hectic, but her salary was hardly enough to meet the high cost of living in the city.

Her elder sister had tried talking to us about AMWAY many times. My strong negative impression of the business did not allow us to see its true potential until later. Gradually, as our understanding of AMWAY increased, so too our conviction that it would help us achieve our dreams.

The freedom we derived from AMWAY allowed us to spend quality time with our daughter while the self-improvements we experienced made us better role models for her.

In AMWAY, the improvements and learning do not stop. The dynamic environment where friends come together to nurture great dreams constantly motivates us to upgrade ourselves and uphold the right values in life.
