NAHU & SUCHITRA
Pulau Pinang
Nahu and I were engineering students at University Malaya in Kuala Lumpur when we first met. He was pursuing his Degree in Mechanical Engineering and I, Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
After graduation, we were attached to multinational companies in Pulau Pinang. Soon we settled down. Life was comfortable though we did not have much; a fresh engineer’s salary wasn’t much. Then, we did not know how to dream.
I started looking for a way to be a full-time mother. My desire to stay at home grew stronger after we had our second son but we could not survive on one income alone.
We were very fortunate that a few years later, my brother shared with us the AMWAY™ Business Opportunity. He was very excited about his business and he showed us a systematic way of building a network and the business. Nahu was very sceptical at first because he had many misconceptions about this business.
This was one of the turning points in our journey; we made a commitment to build our AMWAY business.
Initially, we faced many challenges. We did not have the business knowledge or the experience and with our uplines based in Kuala Lumpur, we had to conduct most of the activities ourselves. However, with a lot of training and encouragement from our sponsor, and the guidance and counselling from our upline, our skills improved and we saw results.
Two years later, we qualified as Platinums and I was able to be a full-time mother to my children. My first dream had come true.
We realised that jobs can give us income, but it cannot give us our dreams or freedom.
The AMWAY business is a fantastic opportunity for everyone, regardless of age or background. “There is no limit as to how far you can go in this business. Dream big and believe that your dreams will come true.”
