They saw the full potential of the AMWAY plan and products at only 23, thanks to their parents cum sponsors’ tireless guidance. AMWAY was the platform to realise their dreams and one that could give a sense of hope to the younger generation.

They had their reservations, wondering if AMWAY was indeed the opportunity for them. One of Shawn’s dreams was for them to be successful entrepreneurs and give up their jobs before they were 30. They accomplished that dream, proving that “age is not an obstacle to success”.

Shawn & Priscilla’s “family business” started when their aunt and parents signed up as AMWAY Business Owners (ABOs). Today, more than 50 of their family members are in the business – a trait that underscores the AMWAY opportunity’s unique culture and philosophy.

Of course they were doubtful at first, but they kept an open mind and learnt. By taking this small but crucial first step, they started a new chapter in their lives. And they were happy they did because, “if you want others to follow in your footsteps, you must first take the lead!”

Shawn has this to say: “Before saying no, give yourself a chance to know this business better. You might just be the person to rewrite your family’s history!”

“To gain real freedom, a person must accomplish at least one task for his or her own self.” These words from Shawn’s parents motivated them to start their own AMWAY business. Although young, they willingly sacrificed the leisurely pursuits of people their age. They wanted to prove that they could excel just as well.

In the beginning, they were guided mostly by faith, investing many hours after work into a totally unfamiliar business. They now recommend younger entrepreneurs to be equally adventurous. Given AMWAY’s low-risk nature, it is the perfect launch pad for anyone to achieve their dreams.
