I used to work as the country sales manager of a publishing company for 10 years while Mandy worked as a retail promoter. We have big dreams and goals in life, and we thought we could achieve them through our day job. Tired of just working and surviving, we re-examined our beliefs and values; asking ourselves what did we really want in life besides making money?

Life is like a book; some chapters are sad, some boring and others exciting. But if you never turn the page, you will never know what the next chapter holds. When we came across the four fundamentals of the AMWAY values, we knew we had found the answer. The greatest purpose in life is to do our part to make the lives of others better.

A caterpillar builds a cocoon around itself and has to undergo a transformation process before a butterfly emerges in its place and becomes free to fly. Personal transformation is much the same. So what’s your passion? Do you have a plan to bring your passion to life?

Eating meals together, talking about the events of the day with our parents, sending the kids to school are part of our daily activities with my family. Although doing all these things don't require much money, it does need freedom of time and the freedom of mind to do it. Being able to spend quality time together with the family is simply awesome.

We are so blessed to have good partners and many great experienced leaders who helped and advised on our journey to become a Diamond. We would like to thank our mentors Diamond Liew Rik Foong & Kong Mun Yee, Founders Diamond Liew Bon Yen & Siw Kiang for their guidance, encouragement and support.

Many people ask how does it feel to become a Diamond? A diamond is just a piece of charcoal that handled stress exceptionally well. As the saying by Thomas Guthrie goes, “The more the diamond is cut the brighter it sparkles.” We would rather be a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.

The best legacy for you to leave behind is not a building that is named after you or a piece of jewellery, but rather ‘A World That Has Been Impacted And Touched By Your Presence, Joy And Positive Actions’.
