Mun Yee and I both belong to the second generation of AMWAY™ families. After graduating from the UK, I came back and started working for a number of multinational companies.

I treasured every opportunity that was given and worked very hard to climb the corporate ladder. At 26, I was appointed the CEO of a public-listed company. Also a graduate from the UK, Mun Yee pursued her interest in music by becoming a teacher.

Life was very hectic for us both then, to the point where we sometimes lost sight of our goals and the meaning of life.

Since young, Mun Yee had witnessed the way in which her parents, Founders Executive Diamonds M K Kong and her late mother, Swee Chan, built their AMWAY business.

When she was 12, her parents qualified as the seventh Diamonds in Malaysia.
Her parents’ influence plus the conducive environment she grew up in helped mould Mun Yee into a courageous, optimistic, hardworking and helpful person.

I signed up as an AMWAY Business Owner in November 1994, thanks to my parents and upline, Founders Diamonds Liew Bon Yen & Siw Kiang. At first, I did not fully understand the real value of AMWAY. I rejected the business and even tried convincing my parents to do so.

Through perseverance and consistent, outstanding results, my parents managed to change my perception in 1996.

Although successful in my career, the stress, office politics and rewards that did not commensurate with the effort I put in prompted me to commit to AMWAY. In 1997, I qualified Platinum. Mun Yee and I met when she qualified Ruby - it seemed predestined.

We are both very passionate about the business. Our group has grown to become a big AMWAY family with 18 of our members having qualified as Platinum and above.

We have carved our own path. We have set our hearts free. Life to us is as beautiful as it can ever be!
