Here we are, writing our success story on board the luxurious Mediterranean Cruise. It never crossed our mind we would enjoy such a lifestyle.

People always say they have no choice. We disagree. You always have a choice to make the right decision. We did and that decision has not just changed our life, but our future generation’s as well.

My wife’s successful conventional business fell apart during the 1997 recession. Remarkably, her parents’ AMWAY™ business wasn’t affected and grew from strength to strength. Seeing their success, Santhi realised there is hope in the soap and she started her own AMWAY business.

My background differed entirely. Losing my father, the sole bread winner, when I was 15 was a great blow to my family. I worked my way through college. I had believed that hard work and a good education would ensure a bright future. Hence, I put in the hours at the bank, and taught tuition and computer classes part-time. It got me nowhere.

It was AMWAY’s uncommon freedom that prompted me to start the business. That’s when I met Santhi. We made the decision to build our life and our business together.

It is tough, but nothing that’s worth having in life comes easy. We have encountered challenges, rejection and disappointment. But we kept moving forward by our mentors’ encouragement. “Tough times never last, but tough people do”, they said.

True enough, each challenge gave us valuable experience and strength. We believe that any ordinary person can succeed – so long as they dare to dream big and have the mental fortitude.

Our success secret? We believe 100% in AMWAY, in the Sales & Marketing Plan, in the quality products, in our upline and mentors, in husband and wife teamwork and in ourselves.

We enjoy greater freedom financially and are thus able to enjoy our life with greater peace of mind. Most importantly, we can be full-time parents to our children.
