My life prior to the AMWAY™ business was long hours for little return, with a lot of stress working as an engineer. When I heard about AMWAY, I was rather sceptical – professionals don’t sell soap!
It was only when I met some very successful AMWAY Business Owners (ABOs) at a rally in Australia that I got excited about the potential of the business.
I saw the bigger picture immediately. I then made a decision to get moving – just in case it actually worked out for me. I thought, “If I was going to get good at something, I might as well get good at something that will give me freedom.”
Having come from a professional background, where stress is an integral part of everyday life, I appreciate the way AMWAY works. It offers us a positive and stress-free environment, with the potential of gaining the lifestyle and income we want without having to sacrifice quality time with loved ones.
I’ve always wanted to travel, to wake up at my leisure, have a fulfilling career, lots of friends and be debt-free. Instead, I was always broke and had no time.
Coming from a technical background, I was not very comfortable dealing with people. However, I had to learn to take the focus off myself and help other people fulfil their potential. I learnt to be self-accountable and develop the right attitude.
Anyone can win the race to success if they’ll just persist and do whatever it takes. In traditional employment, if you fail you’re fired. In AMWAY, there are no failures, only people who quit. What makes the business seem difficult is that it is a mental battle more than physical hard work.
You can look at this business as a two-to-five-year business course that will lead you to personal growth and a great lifestyle. People can build the business at their own pace. Having faith and staying focused for two to five years can bring great results, after all, anything less than 40 years is a bonus.
