Even today, his mentors, Executive Diamond Chiam Tau Lee & Beng Ewe’s words still ring loud and clear: “The most dreadful thing in life is not being poor or busy; it’s keeping yourself pointlessly busy.”

It reminded Thean Tuan of his days before AMWAY™ when he conducted tuition classes, packing in as many hours and saving as much of his earnings as possible. He didn’t manage to get very far. His perception changed after listening to Founders Crown Ambassador Chan Lee Sean. He decided then that he would begin to do the things he ought to do rather than just the ones he liked and stepped out of his comfort zone.

Along the way, he met and derived much inspiration from countless successful leaders. He still remembers their teachings and advice: “Your fate is determined by who you meet and the friends you hang around with. What you’ve seen and heard may change or ruin your life without you even realising it.”

“I encountered many setbacks and challenges. But I can vouch that if you stay positive, give it your all and take the good with the bad, you will achieve your goal,” he says.

When his business took off, Thean Tuan finally fulfilled his long-held dream – to have a constant stream of passive income and financial security. “Now concerns about leading a quality life in my golden years and threats of economic crises are no longer an issue for me.”
