Carol and I did not want to spend our lives working for others. We tried our hands at conventional businesses, but it soon dawned on us that we would pay with our health when business is brisk and we would risk having to close down when it slows down – a common problem for the conventional business set-up.

Success begins with the right positioning. In 2002, I started to reposition my life and rebuild the business. I managed to qualify Emerald in 2005. In 2010, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and set a higher goal – to go for Diamond!

We made the right decision to start an AMWAY business years ago, but it felt like just yesterday. Having achieved our goals, we felt both elated and relieved at the same time!

Needless to say, we overcame many obstacles and setbacks, and we have emerged stronger and braver for it. There were moments that left us helpless and troubled, but we never gave up.

Furthermore, one never works alone in the AMWAY business. We had the support of our faithful friends and mentors who stood by us no matter what.
